Holiday Diaries is a work exploring the difficulty of remembering happy moments from the past. Even a photograph, a snapshot of a particular moment, can be interpreted differently the more time has passed since it was taken. The title of the series refers to the popular mockumentary “Holiday Diaries”, which, despite its kitschiness, effectively debunked the myth of idyllic holidays in warm countries.
